108 candidates will contest elections on 10 assembly seats in the district.

Patna, October 21 (NEWS IN BIHAR). The process of withdrawal of candidature for the first phase of voting in Bihar Assembly elections has been completed. 108 candidates are contesting for 10 assembly seats in Saran district.

After completion of the process of withdrawal of candidature, 10 candidates are in the fray in Ekma, 12 in Manjhi, 8 in Baniapur, 14 in Taraiya, 9 in Marhaura, 10 in Chhapra, 13 in Garkha, 12 in Amnaur, 12 in Parsa, and 8 in Sonpur.

Under the first phase, voting on these seats will be held on November 6, while counting of votes will be done on November 14. Results will be declared after counting of votes.
