Patna, 3 October (NEWS IN BIHAR). Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today transferred an amount of Rs 2500 crore to 25 lakh beneficiaries of ‘Mukhyamantri Mahila Employment Scheme’ from ‘Sankalp’ located on 1, Anne Marg at the rate of Rs 10,000 per beneficiary.

He said that the ‘Mukhyamantri Mahila Employment Scheme’ was launched on 26 September 2025 by the Kar Kamal of the respected Prime Minister Narendra Modi and on that day, under the ‘Mukhyamantri Mahila Employment Scheme’, 75 lakh women beneficiaries of the state were transferred to 7500 crore at the rate of 10 thousand per beneficiary through DBT.

That is, so far, an amount of Rs 10,000 crore has been transferred to the account of a total of 1 crore beneficial women. Today, one croreth beneficiary Anju Kumari joined through video conferencing and shared his experience and expressed happiness.

The Chief Minister said that the main goal of ‘Mukhyamantri Mahila Employment Scheme’ is to provide financial assistance to a woman from all the families of the state to start employment of their choice. Under this, an initial amount of Rs 10000 is being given as financial assistance.

After starting employment by women, additional financial assistance of up to Rs 2 lakh will be given after assessing.

He said that I am confident that the implementation of this scheme will strengthen the status of women, they will become self -dependent. The economic development of the state and the country will also be strengthened through this scheme focused on self -reliance and self -reliance.
