During the Bihar Assembly general elections, a special vehicle checking campaign is being run by the SST team at various places in the district to effectively control the compliance of the Model Code of Conduct and the use of illegal money. Meanwhile, during vehicle checking at SST check point located at Pipra Chowk under Sahodara police station area, ? 6,28,000 (six lakh twenty-eight thousand rupees) cash was recovered from a person Anil Kumar (age 27 years), father – Yogendra Mahato, resident – ??Panchgachia ward number 05, police station – Sahodara.

The said person could not present any valid document regarding the recovered cash amount. The investigation team has also seized his Platina motorcycle (registration number BR-22BK-0975). This action was taken with the help of CAPF Force (SSB) and in the presence of the magistrate posted at the SST point. Advance investigation and legal action is being taken regarding the recovered amount.
