East Champaran, 30 September (NEWS IN BIHAR). The anger of angry people erupted on Tuesday after the death of a young man injured in a road accident in Chhatauni police station area of ??the district during treatment.

After this, the angry people vandalized the hospital, placed the dead body of the youth on the road, blocked it, and set fire to the road, blocking the national highway for hours.

The victim’s family alleges that ‘the youth injured in the road accident was taken to Sunrise Hospital located on the bypass of Chhatauni police station area for treatment. Where the doctors demanded Rs 1.5 lakh for the treatment. Due to some outstanding money, the doctor stopped oxygen and medicines, due to which the young man died.

The deceased has been identified as Bablu Kumar (22) of Majurha village of Raghunathpur police station area. Bablu was married only a month ago. He was the eldest of 2 brothers. Used to support his family by driving an auto. According to family members, Bablu had gone out on an e-rickshaw with his 6 friends on Sunday.

Meanwhile, a truck hit their e-rickshaw near Singhia Gumti of Banjariya police station area, due to which all six occupants of the e-rickshaw were seriously injured. With the help of local people, the team of Dial-112 admitted all the injured to Sadar Hospital. Where in view of the critical condition of the deceased Bablu, he was referred to Sunrise Hospital for better treatment, where he died during treatment on Tuesday.

After Bablu’s death, the family members alleged that ‘the doctor had demanded Rs 1.5 lakh for the treatment. Due to some money outstanding, the doctor stopped oxygen and medicines, due to which Bablu died. After this incident, angry people along with family members vandalized the hospital and placed the dead body on the road and blocked the road demanding compensation. Chhatauni police station reached the spot on information and calmed down the matter after convincing the family members. Police station incharge Sunil Kumar said that 6 youths were injured in the road accident that took place on Sunday, out of which a youth named Bablu has died. The other injured youth have been identified as Chhotu (16), Chhotu (17), Prinashu (19), Sonu (17) and Vicky (19). He said that the road jam has been cleared. No one has filed an application regarding the incident. Further action will be taken after receiving the application. When I tried to get the stand from Sunrise Hospital regarding the family’s allegations, none of the doctors present at the hospital did not say anything. Refused.
