Purnia, 18 October (NEWS IN BIHAR). Aam Aadmi Party has also registered its presence in Rupauli assembly elections.

On Saturday, Vikas Kumar Mandal filed his nomination as party candidate at Dhamdaha sub-divisional office. During this, a large number of supporters were present with him, who made the atmosphere enthusiastic by raising slogans.

After the nomination, Vikas Kumar Mandal said that Aam Aadmi Party has expressed confidence in him and made him the candidate from Rupauli. He said that with the blessings of Janata Malik he will win with huge votes this time. Attacking the corruption prevalent in the area, he said that after winning the elections, he will clean up this corruption with a “broom”.

He said that Rupauli Assembly has been lagging behind in terms of development since independence. The condition of basic facilities like education, health, roads, electricity and communication is still not satisfactory.

He said that the public representatives here have broken the public trust, hence there is a need for change.

Vikas Kumar Mandal announced that he will give priority to education, because education is the basic means of development and removing unemployment. He said that he will make efforts to provide block status to Tikapati, Mohanpur and Akbarpur. Along with this, the establishment of a separate degree college for the higher education of daughters will be one of their main goals.

According to the information given in the nomination paper, Aam Aadmi Party candidate Vikas Kumar Mandal is from a middle class family. There are only seven and a half thousand rupees in his account, whereas two and a half thousand rupees are deposited in his wife’s account.

The wife has about half a kilo of silver and three hundred grams of gold jewellery. There is only 14 decimal land in the wife’s name, on which a five-room house is built. Vikas Kumar Mandal’s date of birth is 1 January 1982 and his educational qualification is up to Matriculation.

Hundreds of supporters present at the nomination said that they see Vikas Kumar Mandal as an honest and grassroots candidate who has the ability to give a new direction to Rupauli.
