Samastipur, October 21 (NEWS IN BIHAR). After the completion of the process of withdrawal of nominations under Bihar Assembly General Election 2025, a press conference was organized under the chairmanship of District Election Officer-cum-District Officer Roshan Kushwaha in the Collectorate Auditorium on Monday.

On this occasion, Deputy Election Officer Vinod Kumar and Nodal Officer cum Nazarat Deputy Collector Rajneesh Kumar Rai were also present. Addressing the media representatives, DM Roshan Kushwaha said that the process of nomination and withdrawal of nominations was completed peacefully in all the 10 assembly constituencies of Samastipur district.

He gave the final information about the number of candidates remaining in the fray, assembly wise. He informed that the process of nomination and withdrawal of nomination has been completed. Assembly wise details of the final candidates remaining in the fray are as follows:

131-Kalyanpur: A total of 12 nominations were made, out of which 4 nominations were cancelled. Thus, the final 8 candidates are in the fray.

132-Warisnagar: A total of 16 nominations were made, out of which 3 nominations were cancelled. In this way, the final 13 candidates are in the fray.

133-Samastipur: A total of 16 nominations were made, out of which 4 nominations were cancelled. In this way, the final 12 candidates are in the fray.

134-Ujiarpur: A total of 17 nominations were made, out of which 2 nominations were cancelled. In this way, the final 15 candidates are in the fray.

135-Morva: A total of 11 nominations were made, out of which 2 nominations were cancelled. In this way, the final 9 candidates are in the fray.

136-Sarayaranjan: A total of 13 nominations were made, out of which 2 nominations were cancelled. Apart from this, three candidates—Amit Kumar Jha (Bharatiya Sampoorna Krantikari Party), Shambhu Prasad Singh (Samta Party) and Inderjit Kumar (Rashtriya Jan Sambhavna Party) withdrew their nominations. In this way, the final 8 candidates are in the fray.

137-Mohiuddinagar: A total of 14 nominations were made, out of which 2 nominations were cancelled. In this way, the final 12 candidates are in the fray.

138-Vibhutipur: A total of 14 nominations were made and all were found correct. In this way, the final 14 candidates are in the fray.

139-Rosara: A total of 8 nominations were made, out of which 2 nominations were cancelled. In this way, the final 6 candidates are in the fray.

140-Hassanpur: A total of 15 nominations were made, out of which 4 nominations were cancelled. In this way, the final 11 candidates are in the fray.

Thus, a total of 108 candidates are now in the fray as candidates across the district. DM said that the process of allotting election symbols to all the eligible candidates is going on.

He said that the Samastipur district administration is fully prepared and elaborate security arrangements have been made in each assembly constituency to ensure peaceful, fair and fear-free voting.

He appealed to the voters to participate enthusiastically in this great festival of democracy and vote fearlessly.
