Anger among HBL employees, warning of work boycott from 6th November

Bettiah, October 24 The employees of HBL Lauria unit have expressed their deep displeasure towards the management regarding their four-point demands. On Friday, employees worked peacefully by tying black bands at the workplace in protest.

Employees said that a memorandum regarding their problems was submitted to the company management on October 6, 2025, but no concrete action has been taken till now. It was told that talks were also held between employees and management representatives on October 23, in which the management had asked for time to consider the demands. The employees have warned that if their demands are not resolved by November 6, they will be forced to boycott work indefinitely.

The employees said that their agitation will be completely peaceful, but if the situation worsens, the responsibility will be on the company management. He expressed hope that the management would soon take a positive decision on all four of his demands. On this occasion, a large number of employees including Naresh Thakur, Vishwajit Dwivedi, Amit Kumar, Chandan Mishra, Shailesh Mishra, Sandeep Ram, Birjhan Kumar, Ashok Yadav, Rajesh Kumar and Neeraj Sinha were prominently present.
