Araria 15 October (NEWS IN BIHAR). Players of Araria district have brought laurels to the district by performing excellently in the regional level sports competition.

Araria’s team was the runner-up in the under-14 girls’ Kabaddi competition. In this category, talented players of the district, Chandula Kumari and Aarti Kumari have been selected for the state level Kabaddi competition. In the same competition, Ranveer Kumar of Araria has performed well and secured a place at the state level in the Under-14 boys category of the same competition. At the same time, Ahmed Faraz Khan has been selected for the state level competition in the under-14 boys category of volleyball competition.

Araria players have also achieved great success in badminton competition. Pratibha Kumari secured first position in Under-19 girls category. Apart from this, Kajal Kumari (Under-17 girls category) and Wahida (Under-14 girls category) have also been selected for the state level badminton competition.

Sports lovers and teachers of the district have expressed pride in this achievement of the players. Congratulating all the selected players, District Sports Officer Sanyal Kumar said that this success is a matter of pride for Araria district and expressed hope that these players will bring glory to the district by performing excellently at the state level also.
