

Araria, 28 October . Chhath festival ended with offering Arghya to the rising Sun on Tuesday morning, the fourth and last day of Chhath, the great festival of folk faith and sun worship.
In Araria’s Trishulia Ghat, ABC Canal and other ponds and ponds, Chhath devotees stood in the flowing water and worshiped Lord Bhaskar with fruits and flowers in the soup and offered Arghya to the rising sun. The atmosphere of the entire district was festive on the occasion of Chhath. Folk songs of Chhath were played throughout the night in the entire city including the Ghats.
The city, resonating with the songs of Chhath, has come together in a different thread. The city remained awake and illuminated with lights throughout the night on the occasion of Chhath. Statues of Lord Bhaskar have been installed by the Chhath Puja Committee at various places, where a huge crowd of devotees gathered.
There was a huge crowd at the Chhath Ghats in Forbesganj Kothihat Canal and Sultan Pokhar, Dr. Alakh Niranjan’s Pokhar, Bhadreshwar Canal, Godhihare Canal, Shri Panchmukhi Sarovar. The crowd of thousands of Chhath devotees on both sides of the canal presented a different show.
Chhathavrati stood in the flowing water and worshiped Lord Bhaskar with Vedic rituals and prayed for happiness and prosperity by offering Arghya to the rising sun.
Tight security arrangements were made by the administration regarding Chhath. While SDRF team was deployed at Trishulia Ghat to deal with the emergency, divers were deployed at various ghats.
Police officers and a large number of forces were deployed along with the Magistrate at various intersections including the Ghat, who were engaged in controlling the crowd along with maintaining law and order.
Apart from this, other arrangements were made including lighting on the ghat, changing room for changing the clothes of Chhathvratis.
Administrative and police officers were seen continuously monitoring the city and the ghat. A large number of leaders, representatives and candidates of various political parties also visited the ghat and took blessings from Chhathvratis.
