Katihar, 02 October (NEWS IN BIHAR). Arms worship program was organized by Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal on the occasion of Vijayadashami at District Office Hardayal Chowk. Thousands of devotees including Mayor Usha Aggarwal and Pranpur MLA Nisha Singh participated in this program.

The program was inaugurated with wreath, lamp lighting and worship of weapons on the portrait of Lord Rama. After this, Khichdi was offered in the temple of Durga Mata and Mahaprasad was distributed among about 40 thousand devotees.

Pawan Poddar of Vishwa Hindu Parishad Bajrang Dal said that arms worship is an ancient tradition, in which weapons are respected and worshiped. The event is organized on the occasion of Vijayadashami, which symbolizes the victory of good over evil. Vishwa Hindu Parishad District President Ajit Modi, Vishwa Hindu Parishad Province Security Head Anish Singh, and other dignitaries attended the event.
