

Araria, 21 October (NEWS IN BIHAR). Goddess Kali was worshiped last midnight by various temples and puja committees of the district. A large number of devotees gathered in the temples and pandals established by the committee for the worship and puja of Maa Kali and participated in the puja.
Mother Kali is worshiped at night. Worship was done as per Vedic rituals and Kheer was offered to Maa Kali along with fruits and flowers. Maa Khadgeshwari Kali Temple was the center of special attraction. Where for years the tradition of worshiping the Mother Goddess with flower garlands made by the hands of prisoners was continued this time too.
Thousands of devotees gathered at the famous and historical Maa Khadgeshwari Kali temple of Araria. Where special worship of Maa Kali was done by Nanu Da, a seeker of Maa Khadeshwari and Kheer was offered as Mahabhog. Which was distributed among the devotees after the puja.
A large number of men, women and children were present on the spot. Maa Khadeshwari Kali temple was specially decorated for Maa Kali puja. The temple and the premises up to the main gate were beautifully decorated by flower decoration artists from Kolkata. The dazzling attractive lights remained the center of special attraction for the devotees for many kilometers. There was a competition among people to seek blessings from Nanu Da, the seeker of Maa Kali.
