Bettiah, October 25 This time on the occasion of Chhath, the great festival of folk faith, a new gift has been given to the devotees by constructing a grand and modern Chhath Ghat in Bishanpurwa village of Siswania Panchayat. Situated on the side of NH-727 Bagaha road, this ghat has now become a topic of discussion in the entire area from both religious and tourism point of view.

Panchayat head Kanhaiya Prasad said that this ghat has been constructed under the Sixth and 15th Finance Commission at a cost of about Rs 32 lakh. He said that this ghat has taken the identity of the village to new heights and the beauty here is now attracting people.

Colorful lighting, attractive water fountains, and beautiful selfie points have been arranged in the ghat complex. For the convenience of the devotees, benches, better arrangements for cleanliness and a park surrounded by greenery have also been made. In the evening, this ghat looks like a modern tourist destination in twinkling lights.

Praising Chief Kanhaiya Prasad and Panchayat representatives, the local people said that with the construction of the ghat, the devotees will get convenience in worshiping and this place has now become a center of local tourism.
