Bhagalpur, 2 October (NEWS IN BIHAR). The cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi approved the opening of 57 new Kendriya Vidyalayas in the country. 19 Kendriya Vidyalayas will open in Bihar. 18 districts of the state will benefit from this.

In Bhagalpur, Bihar, the central government has also approved to open a new Kendriya Vidyalaya. Thus, now the number of Kendriya Vidyalayas in Bhagalpur district will be two. Currently, a Kendriya Vidyalaya is running in Kahalgaon Bhagalpur.

It may be notable that MP Ajay Kumar Mandal raised the issue of opening a new Kendriya Vidyalaya in Bhagalpur in the year 2020 in Parliament. He had also given a letter to the minister to meet the Union Education Minister to open the Kendriya Vidyalaya in Bhagalpur.

At the same time, Bhagalpur district administration was also requested to provide land for Kendriya Vidyalaya. Due to all these efforts, the dream of building Kendriya Vidyalaya is being fulfilled today. Regarding this, MP Ajay Mandal said that I thank Prime Minister Modi, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan for giving historic gifts for Bhagalpur.
