On the basis of secret information, SSB and local police conducted a joint raid near Bhagkohlia Canal of Forbesganj and arrested a youth with smack. The arrested youth has been identified as Vikas Kumar Mandal, father of Satyajit Mandal, resident of Bhagkohlia Ward No. 4.

Police Station Head Raghavendra Kumar Singh said on Tuesday that during the operation, 100 grams of smack and a bike number BR 38 AL 0277 were recovered from the youth. The youth has been sent to judicial custody after completing the necessary legal process.

Inspector Ramlal of Bathnaha SSB 56th battalion, Inspector Akash Kumar of the local police station, SSB jawans and police forces were involved in this operation.

The police station chief said that the police is trying to find out from where the youth was bringing the smack and who else are involved in its illegal business. He claimed that other businessmen would also be arrested soon.
