Forbesganj/Araria, October 17 (NEWS IN BIHAR). Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate Devanti Yadav filed her nomination papers for Narpatganj assembly seat on Friday. Devanti Yadav submitted his nomination before the concerned returning officer at Forbesganj sub-divisional office. His supporters were present in large numbers at the time of nomination, for which tight security arrangements were made by the administration.

After filing the nomination, Devanti Yadav said that she will go among the public regarding the development schemes of the Central and State Government and the policies empowering women. He expressed confidence that the people of Narpatganj will make him victorious with an overwhelming majority. With this nomination, the electoral contest for Narpatganj assembly seat has now formally started.
