Araria 16 October (NEWS IN BIHAR). BJP State Working Committee member Pandit Ajay Jha was denied ticket by the party despite repeated assurances. In anger, he protested against the party’s decision by wearing a shroud on Thursday and came in front of the press along with his wife.

In the press conference held, BJP state committee member Pandit Ajay Jha said that since 1985, he has been continuously working in the interest of the party. Despite repeated assurances, he has been betrayed by the party. He said that he has always been participating in the party programs with all his might, from local level to Patna, Delhi. From the local MP to the party’s state and national level leaders, he kept giving him assurance till the last moment that he would contest the elections from Narpatganj or Forbesganj. But he was denied the ticket.

He said that BJP talks about Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas and Sabka Vishwas. But where is everyone’s support? He said what a sin it is to be born in a Brahmin family. The party did not give him ticket because he was a Brahmin. Party’s high command leaders say that Narpatganj seat is Yadav’s and Forbesganj is Bania’s seat.

He said that he served BJP in the district for a long time and did irrigation work. But perhaps now there is no place left for Brahmins in BJP. He said that when the party high command was knowing that Narpatganj was the seat of Yadav and Forbesganj was the seat of Bania, then why were they given assurance for a long time.

He said that at the time of the last Lok Sabha elections, he was having a rift with MP Pradeep Kumar Singh, then Health Minister Mangal Pandey had taken the initiative to end the rift and even at that time the party had talked about doing better for him. He said that the party neither did the work of making him an MLC nor did the work of giving him any post in any commission.

Pandit Ajay Jha said that he is a sentimental man and in such a situation he can do anything. He talked about being hurt and heartbroken, even going so far as to end his life. He said that the party leadership wants to sacrifice him. During the press conference, Pandit Ajay Kumar Jha became emotional and tears welled up in his eyes.

During the press conference, Pandit Ajay Jha’s wife Sanju Jha spoke and raised many serious questions on the decision of the party high command. She talked about being punished by the BJP for being a Brahmin and announced to contest the elections as an independent candidate from Narpatganj.
