Bhagalpur, 24 October . BJP leader Vivekananda Prasad alias Bablu Yadav was fatally attacked in broad daylight on Friday near TNB Law College Gali in Barari police station area of ??the district amid tight security arrangements regarding Bihar Assembly elections. It is being told that Bablu Yadav was strolling on the terrace of his house, when Suraj Tanti, a resident of Surhikal, reached there with his companions carrying weapons and fired two rounds at him. BJP leader Bablu Yadav has been seriously injured by the bullet.

He was immediately admitted to Mayaganj Hospital. Where he is undergoing treatment. An old dispute is said to be behind the incident. A few days ago there was a fight between nearby fruit shopkeeper Devanand and Suraj Tanti. Whose information was given by Bablu Yadav to the local police station.

It is being told that the police had arrested Devanand at that time. To take revenge for this, Suraj Tanti attacked Bablu Yadav today. The entire video of the incident has been captured in the CCTV camera. On the basis of the footage, the police have started investigating the entire case and the search for the accused has been intensified.
