Patna, 1 October (NEWS IN BIHAR). AIMIM President Asaduddin Owaisi has raised questions on the special intensive revision work of voter list completed in Bihar.

He wrote in one of his X-posts that the reality of Bihar! Political parties, especially BJP, will get an opportunity to harass and alienate voters on the basis of religion. In today’s India, poor Muslims and Dalits have only one means, their right to vote. BJP wants to make them helpless against oppression.

BJP state spokesperson Kuntal Krishna has issued a statement on this statement of Asaduddin Owaisi. He has said that special intensive revision work of voter list is being done through democratic method. This is a big step towards a healthy democracy. Describing it as a big step taken to improve the election process, he said that for Owaisi Saheb it may be an issue related to religion, but for us it is only about how we can improve our democratic system and the election process. He said that you should ask the big opposition leaders whether their names have been deleted or not.

He said that stop misleading the public like this. Infiltrators are definitely an issue for us. You are talking about saving the infiltrators, we are talking about expelling the infiltrators. We are talking about removing those individuals who cannot participate in the democratic process. We consider it our responsibility to protect democratic values.
