Patna, October 15 (NEWS IN BIHAR). A bus carrying CISF personnel collided with an uncontrolled truck in Saran on Wednesday morning. More than 25 soldiers have been seriously injured in the massive collision. The accident took place near Pandey Chhapra village of Rasulpur police station area of ??Saran district.

According to the information received, the soldiers had reached Siwan from Delhi and from there were going on election duty in Doriganj police station area of ??Saran district. A total of 40 soldiers were traveling in the bus that met with the accident. The collision was so strong that the front part of the bus was completely damaged.

As soon as information about the incident was received, local people and police of Rasoolpur and Ekma police stations immediately reached the spot and started relief work. All the injured were admitted to Ekma Community Health Centre. The seriously injured soldiers have been referred to Chhapra Sadar Hospital.

Ekma’s ADPO Rajkumar said that the truck has been confiscated. The driver has absconded after the incident. Efforts are being made to arrest him.
