In which confidence was expressed in the sitting MLA for Sikti and Forbesganj assembly of Araria district, instead of the sitting MLA in Narpatganj assembly, the BJP high command expressed confidence in former MLA Devyanti Yadav and made him the candidate of the party.
In the released list, Vijay Kumar Mandal, MLA from Sikti Assembly and Minister of Disaster Management Department of Bihar Government, was made the candidate. Vidyasagar Keshari alias Manchan Keshari, who has represented the assembly from Forbesganj assembly constituency for two consecutive terms, has been made the candidate.
Earlier, in the list released by Jansuraj, chief Ragib Bablu from Sikti and Janardan Yadav, who had won four times on BJP ticket from Narpatganj, were made candidates.
Janardan Yadav had joined Jan Suraj a few days ago after being angry with the neglect in BJP and Jan Suraj trusted Janardan Yadav. Devyanti Yadav’s candidature in the released list of BJP was full of surprises.
The party expressed confidence in the sitting MLA by cutting his ticket. In this way, two former BJP MLAs are currently face to face in Narpatganj and the Grand Alliance candidate is yet to be announced.
Narpatganj’s outgoing MLA Jaiprakash Yadav had a lot of opposition with the BJP in the area. There were also reports against him in seven surveys conducted by the party. In such a situation, there was speculation that his ticket would be canceled.
However, former chief Vijay Yadav, Nageshwar Yadav, Rohit Yadav and many others were lined up in the race for the ticket and the party expressed confidence in Devyanti Yadav and announced her candidature.
