Araria, 19 October (NEWS IN BIHAR). Regarding Chhath, the great festival of public faith, Forbesganj Municipal Council administration took stock of the cleanliness and other works being done at the ghats under the leadership of Chairperson Veena Devi.

The Chairman took stock of the ongoing cleaning and ghat construction work on the canal located on Kothihat Road as well as on Sultan Pokhar. Executive Officer Randhir Lal, Principal Assistant Kamakhya Narayan Singh alias Kundan Singh, Empowered Standing Committee member Manoj Singh and other employees were present on the occasion.

On the occasion, Chief Councilor Veena Devi said that the Municipal Council administration is determined regarding cleanliness and arrangement at the ghats during the great festival of public faith. Every kind of arrangement is being made at Chhath Ghat so that the Chhath devotees do not have to face any kind of problems. Along with cleanliness, the work of disposal of garbage scattered on the ghats is currently being done. Laborers are being deployed to clean the ghat, along with leveling the land and removing water hyacinth. Special arrangements will be made by the city council to ensure that Chhathvartis do not face any kind of trouble.
