East Champaran, 29 October . Chaita Ayushman Arogya Mandir of Pakridayal block of the district was awarded the National Quality Assurance Standard after the National Assessment. Giving this information on Wednesday, DPC Bharat Bhushan of District Health Committee said that Ayushman Arogya Mandir (Health and Wellness Center cum Health Sub-centre) located at Chaita in Pakridayal block of the district has given a big achievement to the district. 144 types of medicines are available in this centre, while 14 types of health check-ups are done. Earlier, this sub health center was inspected by the district and state, where when the system was found to be better, it was given National Quality Assurance Standard (NQAS).
He said that the team especially took a close look at the out-patient services, family welfare services, free medicine distribution, pathology testing and vaccination services. Civil Surgeon Dr. Ravibhushan Srivastava said that for the first time the Sub Health Center of the district has received such an honour, it is a matter of great joy for all of us. He told the health workers regarding the achievement that there is a need to do better work like this in future also. He gave many important suggestions. At the national level, CHO Suraj Pandey and ANM Sarita Kumari and Kanchan Kumari have a big contribution in the success of the Sub Health Center. He said that NQAS assessment is a medium to bring transparency in health institutions. With this, patients will be able to get quality treatment.
On this occasion, the entire health center team of Chaita including Medical Officer in-charge Dr. Hamid Hussain, BHM Sanjay Kumar, BCM Anil ji, CHO Suraj Pandey and ANM Sharita Kumari and Kanchan Kumari and Piramal District Representatives Arunendra Kumar and Rani Kumari Gupta and their team were present.
