Chhath, the great festival of folk faith and sun worship, ended on Tuesday morning with the devotees offering Arghya to the rising Lord Bhaskar.

There was a festive atmosphere in the entire district for the last four days. The echo of devotional songs in every village and the preparations for Chhath Ghats had colored the entire atmosphere in religious colors.

Devotees left no stone unturned in cleaning and decorating the Chhath Ghats located on the rivers, ponds and ponds of their respective villages. The beauty of the ghats decorated with flowers and lamps was worth seeing.

At many ghats, devotees kept dancing and singing devotional songs throughout the night and at dawn, after offering Arghya to the rising Sun, returned home with their families.

Chhath festival was celebrated in a peaceful and reverent atmosphere in Alinagar block of the district. Under the leadership of Police Station President Vinay Mishra, administrative officials continued inspecting various Chhath Ghats of the entire area.

At many places, traditional Natua dance was also organized to fulfill the wishes of the devotees. The children enjoyed the festival by bursting firecrackers, due to which the atmosphere of the ghats was filled with joy and light.

Chhath festival was celebrated in the entire block area including Adhloam, Lahta, Tumaul, Andauli, Navanagar, Narma Nabharpati, Tulapati, Shyampur, Alinagar, Dhamuara, Dhamsain, Dasaut, Harsinghpur in an atmosphere of devotion and faith.
