
Patna, 1 October (NEWS IN BIHAR). Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today gave a big gift to the people of the state. He laid the foundation stone, inaugurated and inaugurated various schemes related to public facilities and development at a cost of ? 4233 crore.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister said that the government is giving priority to public convenience and rural development. Those schemes which are directly related to villages and farmers will be completed rapidly.
Laying the foundation stone of 663 Panchayat Government buildings, which will be constructed by Gram Panchayats at a cost of ?1823 crore. Laying the foundation stone of 1000 marriage pavilions under the Chief Minister Kanya Vivah Mandap Yojana, which will be constructed by Gram Panchayats at a cost of ? 500 crore. Inauguration of Daudnagar market courtyard of Aurangabad district built at a cost of ? 40 crore 46 lakh.
322 Panchayat buildings constructed by the Building Construction Department at a cost of ?885 crore,
Inauguration of 367 buildings constructed by Local Area Engineering Organization at a cost of ? 825 crore and 140 Panchayat Government buildings constructed by Gram Panchayats at a cost of ? 160 crore.
Under the Input Grant Scheme of the Agriculture Department, an amount of more than ? 113 crore was given directly to more than 2 lakh 41 thousand farmers affected by the excessive rains and floods of August 2025.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister directed the officials to ensure timely and quality work and said that these schemes will strengthen the infrastructure of the villages and will directly benefit the farmers and common citizens.
Also, Basantik (Rabi) Mahabhiyan 2025 has been launched.
