A cultural program was organized on Saturday on the occasion of Diwali and Chhath Puja in the primary school Tribal Tola Madhura under Tiraskund Panchayat of Forbesganj block. Which was presided over by head teacher Mithilesh Kumar Singh.

Children brought lamps from their homes and decorated the school with lamps. Some students made rangoli with colorful flowers and colours. Taking the program forward, some children presented Chhath songs and some danced on Chhath songs. Then the focal teacher informed the children about the topic ‘Safe Saturday’ and the precautions regarding the dangers of firecrackers. The program ended by making a human chain of lamps made by the children.

Former school principal Kumar Rajeev Ranjan, Ranjit Kumar Mandal, focal teacher Sanjeet Kumar Nigam, school cook Lukhi Devi, Aarti Devi, Lalita Kumari, Anganwadi worker Meena Tudu, hundreds of children and parents were present on the occasion.
