Bhagalpur, 25 October . On the occasion of Chhath, the great festival of folk faith, worship material was distributed among the Chhath devotees by Maa Anandi Foundation on Saturday.

This time it was distributed among the fasting sisters and mothers who had become victims of natural disaster. Everything they owned was washed away in the flood. After identifying them, Chhath puja material, soup, coconut, saree, wheat, jaggery, rice, pumpkin, ghee etc. were distributed among them.

This auspicious program was started by the members of the organization by applying vermilion, a symbol of traditional wedding ceremony, to all the women present. After that, the traditional song of Chhath, the great festival of folk faith, was sung by the women of the organization. Due to which the entire Ganga Ghat resonated with devotional songs.

On the occasion, Priya Soni, founder of Maa Anandi Sanstha, said that for the last many years, on the occasion of such religious events, we reach Ganga Ghat and all the members of the organization together present them the materials for Chhath puja. On this auspicious occasion, Priya Soni, the founder of Maa Anandi Sanstha along with dozens of members participated.
