

Saran, 26 November . An important step was taken towards ensuring election transparency in Saran district. District Magistrate Aman Sameer and Senior Superintendent of Police Dr. Kumar Ashish jointly conducted a surprise and thorough internal inspection of the electronic voting machine warehouse located in Sadar block.
During the inspection, the officials carefully inspected the entry system of the warehouse premises. His main focus was on safe maintenance and well-organized storage of EVM machines. He laid special emphasis on ensuring all necessary provisions related to the security of EVM machines and gave clear instructions not to be lax in this regard. During the inspection, detailed information was taken about the functioning of the CCTV cameras installed in the premises. The officials reviewed the monitoring system of the control room and the status of deployment of security personnel. District Magistrate Aman Sameer directed that round the clock monitoring system should be kept active and regular records of every activity happening around the warehouse should be maintained.
Senior Superintendent of Police Dr. Kumar Ashish clarified that any kind of negligence in the security of EVMs will be unacceptable. This inspection reflects the administration’s commitment towards preparations for the upcoming election process and ensuring impenetrable security of the machines.
