
Bhagalpur, 18 October (NEWS IN BIHAR). Under the chairmanship of District Election Officer-cum-District Magistrate Dr. Naval Kishore Chaudhary, a meeting was organized with the senior officers and nodal officers of all the cells in order to conduct the elections in a free, fair and peaceful environment in Bhagalpur under the Bihar Legislative Assembly general election.
In the meeting, the nodal officer of the Personnel Cell informed that the names of 450 personnel have been received today. The District Magistrate said that a report should be made to the Election Commission against the officer under his control that the names of the personnel have been sent late with the purpose of deliberately creating disruption in the election work.
The nodal officer said that in the light of the applications given by the sick and sick employees for relief from duty, investigation has been done by the Medical Board in Sadar Hospital, out of 400 applications, recommendation has been received from the Civil Surgeon for relief from duty of 322 personnel.
The District Magistrate said that the recommendation should be presented before him. The District Election Officer said that the presiding officer, the first polling officer, those personnel whose pay scale should be higher should be kept in P2.
He said that Form 12 should be obtained from all the workers of the polling party for voting. Not a single employee’s vote should be left out. In the meeting, the Election Cell, Vajra Griha Counting Cell informed about their preparations so that the distribution of Voter Information Slips reaches every house, and the senior officer was made Deputy Development Commissioner.
The District Election Officer said that the Voter Assistance Center will be constructed at each booth by the Personnel Welfare Cell. Where the BLO will sit with the remaining voter information slips, he instructed the Deputy Election Officer to get a hunting line installed for the district control room.
The nodal officer of ETPBS said that instructions were given to separate the EVMs assembly wise by October 19. Regarding the sweep activity, the Deputy Development Commissioner said that door-to-door Dastak program will be conducted by Jeevika Didis, Sevika, Sahayika and Asha.
Four-five big programs will be organized at the district level. It was told that a rally of disabled people would be taken out.
