A coordination meeting of the officers engaged in the security of the border of India and Nepal was held on Sunday at Sikti, the outer border post of SSB 52nd Battalion located on the India-Nepal border in the district. In which many important issues like border security, smuggling between the two countries, supply of narcotics and weapons were discussed.

The meeting was presided over by Commandant Mahendra Pratap, SSB 52nd Battalion. The meeting was attended by SSB officers from the Indian side and officers of the III Corps of the Armed Police Force from the Nepalese side. After the meeting, Commandant Mahendra Pratap congratulated the representatives of Nepal APF on Diwali and presented sweets. Nepalese officers also congratulated the Indian SSB officers and presented sweets and mementos. After the meeting, joint patrolling of the border was also done by the security agencies of both the countries.
