Patna, 29 October . With the end of Chhath festival, the weather of Bihar has started changing. It is believed that this change in weather is due to the effect of cyclonic storm Montha, which has taken a severe form in the Bay of Bengal.
Patna remained partly cloudy and slightly foggy since Wednesday morning. Light rain is also occurring in Patna after 11 am. Due to this the weather has become pleasant.
According to the India Meteorological Department, due to the storm moving towards the northwest, there is a possibility of light to moderate rainfall in the eastern and central districts of the state from October 29 to October 31, while heavy rain may also occur at one or two places.
Districts like Jamui, Banka, Munger, Bhagalpur, Katihar, Gaya, West and East Champaran will see winds with speed of 30-40 km/hour along with thunderstorms. A drop of four degrees in the maximum temperature will increase the coldness, this can pose a challenge for the travelers right after the end of Chhath Mahaparva.
Talking about Patna, there will be light wind throughout the day, but the possibility of heavy rain is less. The maximum temperature may remain around 28-30 degrees Celsius, while the minimum may drop to 18-20 degrees.
