West Champaran (Bagaha), 14 October (NEWS IN BIHAR). Ramnagar police station under Bagaha police district, on the basis of secret information under special vehicle checking operation.

Three kilos and 100 grams of ganja has been recovered from an e-rickshaw on Lauria Savaiya Road.

According to Bagaha Superintendent of Police Sushant Kumar Saroj, Ramnagar police station received secret information that illegal consignment of Gaza was going to be taken by e-rickshaw on Lauria Savaiya Road of Ramnagar police station. Police took cognizance of this and gave this information to the senior officer for verification and raid. Police Station Head Ramnagar took immediate action along with the raiding team during intensive investigation on Loriya Savaiya Road. One e-rickshaw and three kilos and one hundred grams were seized. E-rickshaw recovered with ganja.

The e-rickshaw driver and a person were arrested from the spot. In this regard, an FIR has been registered in Ramnagar police station and further action is being taken. According to sources, the value of the seized Gaza in the international market will be around Rs 50 lakh.
