District Magistrate held a meeting with representatives of recognized political parties

East Champaran, 30 September (NEWS IN BIHAR). In the light of the instructions of the Election Commission, New Delhi, the last publication of the voter list of East Champaran district was made on Tuesday after the completion of the process of special intensive revision 2025. Regarding this, a meeting was held in his office cell with the District President and Secretary of all recognized political parties under the chairmanship of District Election Officer cum District Magistrate Saurabh Jorwal.

In the meeting, the District Magistrate said that the draft of the election list was published on August 01, 2025, after which claim objection was received in the period from 01.08.2025 to 01.09.2025. All the claim objections received in the light of the guidelines received from the Election Commission of India were executed by 25.09.2025.

Today, the voter list has been finalized on 29.09.2025. The District Magistrate said that the total number of voters in the district is 3428474. A total of 47188 new names have been added while 7834 names have been removed. A total of 17905 has also been improved. Regarding the assembly wise electors, the District Magistrate said that a total of 4677 names were added under the 10-Raxaul assembly constituency, 286 names were removed and 1440 names were improved, thus the total number of voters is 2848 71.

11-3059 names were added under Sugauli assembly constituency, 1430 names were removed, 1143 names were improved. The number of electors under Sugauli assembly constituency is 281851.

12-A total of 4138 names were added under the Narkatiya assembly constituency, 924 names were removed and 1648 names were improved. The number of electors there is 300158.

13-A total of 3490 names were added under Harsiddhi assembly constituency, 672 names were removed and 1360 names were improved. The total number of electors there is 273087.

14- A total of 2946 names were added under the Special Gahan revision program under Govindganj assembly constituency, 267 names were removed, 1296 entries were improved. Thus the total number of electors there is 263232.

A total of 2857 new names were added under the Kesaria Assembly, a total of 387 names were removed and 1349 entries were improved. Thus the total number of electors there is 259840. 16-A total of 4040 new names were added under the Kalyanpur assembly constituency, 304 names were removed and 1378 names were improved. Thus, the total number of electors under Kalyanpur assembly constituency is 255066.

A total of 4863 new names were added under the 17-Pipra assembly constituency, 798 names were removed and 1786 names were improved. Thus the total number of electors under Pipra assembly constituency is 334731. 18- A total of 3516 new names were added under Madhuban assembly constituency, 936 names were removed, 1233 names were improved. Thus the total number of electors under Madhuban assembly constituency is 263974.

19-A total of 3589 names were added under the Matihari assembly constituency, 514 names were removed, the entries of 1311 were improved. Thus, the total number of electors under Motihari assembly constituency is 289799.

20- A total of 5079 names were added under Chiraiya assembly constituency, 803 names were removed and 1574 names were improved. Thus there are a total of 287911 electors under Chiraiya assembly constituency.

21-A total of 4934 new names were added under Dhaka Assembly Constituency, 513 names were removed, 2387 names were improved. Thus, the total number of electors under Dhaka Assembly constituency is 3339 54. Talking about the list of the list, the District Magistrate said that the voter list in the district is 876.
