District Election Officer cum District Officer Aman Sameer gave information about the program of Saran teacher election in the meeting organized with the representatives of political parties.

He said that in the light of the program received from the Election Commission of India, Chief Electoral Officer Bihar and the instructions of Electoral Registration Officer cum Divisional Commissioner Rajeev Roshan, a general information was published for general information on Tuesday, September 30.

Electoral list will be made afresh

He informed that a fresh electoral list will be prepared for the said election. He clarified that the earlier list automatically gets deleted. Therefore, all eligible people will be required to apply in Form-19.

The District Magistrate said that those teachers of educational institutions of Bihar state who have taught as full-time teachers on regular basis or ad-hoc basis for at least three years within six years immediately before the qualifying date 01.11.2025 and that institution is not less than secondary school and they normally reside in this constituency, will be eligible to become voters.

Last date of application till 6th November

He said that the ERO and AERO of the Assembly along with the DEO in the district are the electoral registration officers for this. Whereas a designated officer has been nominated in each block. Eligible teachers can submit their application in Form-19 at the special counter created in the block on any office working day till November 6 in person or through the head of the institute.

The District Magistrate said that according to the program received by the Election Commission, various activities have been announced phase wise.

Last date to apply: 06.11.2025 Publication of draft electoral list: 25.11.2025

Receipt of claims and objections: 25.11 to 10.12.2025

Execution of claims and objections: 25.12.2025

Final publication of electoral list: 30.12.2025
