In order to prepare for the Bihar Assembly General Elections 2025, General Observer B. Maheshwari did it.

During the inspection, he took detailed information about the process of verification of election related campaign material, social media monitoring system and authentication of news.

He directed the officers and monitoring personnel to ensure continuous monitoring of all news, advertisements and social media posts, so that any kind of misleading information or material violating the code of conduct can be identified immediately.

Maheshwari also directed that all news cuttings and media reports related to 135-Morwa assembly constituency should be made available to him daily, so that regular review of area-wise media activities can be possible.

He said that maintaining fairness and transparency of the election process is the top priority. Praising the functioning of the Media Cell, the General Observer said that the Public Relations Department is playing an important role in providing accurate information related to the elections to the public.

He also directed that all the media reports should be properly archived and the real-time monitoring system of the materials circulated on social media should be further strengthened. On this occasion, Deputy Election Officer Vinod Kumar, Nodal Officer of Media Cell Rajneesh Kumar Rai, Principal Information Clerk Sanjay Kumar, Media Coordinator Subhit Kumar Singh, Manglesh Kumar, Madhu Madhavi, Rohit Kumar and Anurag were present, who in turn Informed Madam Observer about the progress of the Cell’s work.
