Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary

Patna, 28 October . Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary on Tuesday took a jibe at Tejashwi Yadav and said that Bihar has gained momentum and the state is moving rapidly in the direction of development.

The promise of 2 crore 70 lakh jobs is false, the opposition should tell from where they will bring 12 lakh crore. Lalu Prasad Yadav kept Bihar entangled in corruption and scams for 15 years.

NDA government gave jobs to 12 lakh people, employment to 38 lakh.

Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar, Samrat Chaudhary strongly attacked the Grand Alliance and said that those whose parents did not give government jobs to even one lakh people in Bihar when they were Chief Ministers, today they are dreaming of giving government jobs to two crore 70 lakh people. There is a popular saying in Bihar for such boastfulness – Father does not kill the frog, son does not kill the archer.

Deputy Chief Minister Chaudhary said that the total budget of Bihar is Rs 3 lakh 17 thousand crore, out of which Rs 85 thousand crore is spent in the salaries of 22 lakh government employees. If 2 crore 70 lakh people are given government jobs, about Rs 12 lakh crore will be spent on salaries — which is four times more than Bihar’s current budget. This claim is completely impractical and misleading to the public.

He said that the leaders of the Grand Alliance are trying to mislead the people of Bihar, but now the people are not going to fall into their trap. The people of Bihar will form a government with a strong majority by making NDA victorious on more than 200 seats.

Addressing the public meeting in support of JDU’s Dhumal Singh from Ekma assembly constituency, BJP’s Devesh Kant Singh from Goreyakathi and BJP’s Manoj Sharma from Arwal, the Deputy Chief Minister said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, the state government has worked to provide government jobs to 12 lakh people and employment to 38 lakh people in the last five years.

He said that with the blessings of the public, the target of providing government jobs and employment to one crore people will be achieved in the next term.

Samrat Chaudhary said that the leaders of the Grand Alliance had thrown Bihar into the pit of backwardness for decades. Congress kept the state entangled in corruption and scams for 40 years and Lalu Prasad Yadav for 15 years. When he should have been focusing on development, he was busy with the fodder and Alcatraz scams. Before 2005, where electricity was available in cities only for four-five hours, today even villages are getting uninterrupted electricity supply 24 hours a day. The state government is providing 125 units of electricity free of cost.

Shri Choudhary said that Bihar has achieved a fast pace of development and the people have once again made up their mind to form the government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.
