Nalanda, Bihar Sharif, October 24 . Two important meetings were organized under the chairmanship of Block Development Officer (BDO) Dr. Pankaj Kumar on Friday at the Harnaut Block Headquarters premises of Nalanda district. The first meeting was held regarding the upcoming assembly elections in which the vehicle department was reviewed.

In this regard, BDO said that during the elections, it is the responsibility of the administration to transport polling parties, sector officers, voting materials and security forces from one place to another safely and on time. For this, different categories of vehicles will be required. He has instructed all the concerned officials that all the preparations related to vehicle management should be completed on time so that there is no hindrance in the voting process. The second meeting was related to the cleanliness campaign in which special discussion was held on cleaning the ghats for the upcoming Chhath festival.

On this occasion, BDO said that the sanitation workers should complete the cleaning work of all the Chhath Ghats on time so that the devotees do not face any kind of problem. He said that Chhath Parva is a great festival of folk faith, hence any kind of carelessness in its preparation will not be tolerated.
