There is an atmosphere of mourning in the city due to the massive cylinder explosion that took place in Hasan Chowk area of ??Darbhanga city on Saturday. Many people were injured in this tragic accident, while the property of many families was burnt to ashes. After the accident, the entire area is immersed in panic and mourning.

As soon as information about the incident was received, Jan Suraj Party’s MLA candidate Rakesh Kumar Mishra reached the spot and met the victims’ families and shared their pain and suffering. He demanded the administration to provide immediate compensation to the injured and expedite the relief work.

However, amid this tragic incident, political controversy has also emerged. Rakesh Mishra alleged that some “anti-social supporters” of the ruling party MLA tried to misbehave with him.

After this statement of Mishra, there is a possibility of increase in tension in local politics. While on one hand the administration is busy in relief work, on the other hand political allegations and counter-allegations have made the atmosphere more sensitive.

Police have inspected the incident site and started investigation. At the same time, the administration has started the process of providing temporary relief to the affected families.
