
Katihar, 03 October (NEWS IN BIHAR). On the occasion of International Old Day, a honor ceremony of old persons was organized by Koshi Regional Disabled, Widow, Older, Welfare Committee in local education Niketan, Binodpur. In this program, the contribution and challenges of older persons to the society were discussed.
On this occasion, former Principal Professor Prabhu Narayan Lal Das and Vasudev Nayak, former Principal of KB Jha College, launched the program by giving water to the plants. Professor Narayan Lal Das said that the old people should be respected every day in our mind, and it is mandatory to stop the misbehavior with them.
Presiding over the program, Vijay Shukla honored all the old people present on the spot by giving them organ clothes and feeding sweets. On this occasion, Dhirendra Nath Jha, senior volunteer of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, said that the old person is a store of knowledge, and their experience and contribution towards society should be discussed and guided.
On this occasion, Shiv Shankar Ramani, who is conducting the program, honored Vijay Shukla, director of Shiksha Niketan by giving saplings. Ganga Ram Chandravanshi, Puran Mishra, Sajal Vishwas, and many other dignitaries attended the program.
