Illegal liquor recovered from car, driver arrested

Liquor recovered in police custody

Nalanda, 16 October (NEWS IN BIHAR).

Bihar police station took action near Nakatpura village on Thursday, seized 10 cartons of English liquor from the car and arrested the driver.

A total of 170 bottles of liquor were recovered from the vehicle. The raid took place on the information of Patna liquor prohibition. The arrested driver is Vikas Kumar, son of Santosh Kumar, resident of Bhikhani village of Saare police station area. Bihar police station incharge Samrat Deepak said that the luxury car along with liquor was seized. Further action is underway on the basis of interrogation of the arrested driver.

The raid team included Inspector Roshan Kumar, Ravi Kumar, Khurshid Ansari, Trainee Inspector Pawan Kumar, Jamadar Rakesh Kumar Singh, Constable Gaurav Kumar, Sonu Kumar, Amar Kumar, Home Guard Diwakar Singh, Vijay Yadav.
