Katihar, 26 October . A case has come to light in Bagchalla village ward number 6 under Kelabari Panchayat of Azamnagar police station area of ??the district. The villagers allege that some people have forcibly occupied the land of Sri Sri 108 Hanuman Temple and have started the construction of a house by demolishing the temple.
The villagers had given a written application in Azamnagar police station pleading for justice in this regard, but no action has been taken yet. In the Janata Darbar, CEO Rizwan Ahmed had assured both the parties to maintain peace, but despite this, the construction work of the house is going on on the temple land.
Villagers say that this temple was donated by the people of the village out of reverence many years ago and Sri Sri 108 Hanuman Temple was constructed on that land by the donor of the land. But now the religious place is being damaged by some people by forcibly occupying it.
The villagers have demanded immediate action from the administration so that the sanctity and religious faith of the temple is maintained. It remains to be seen what action the administration takes in this matter.
