Patna, 24 October . Independent candidate Anoop Kumar Srivastava, contesting from Gopalganj Assembly seat in Bihar Assembly elections 2025, has received the support of Jansuraj.

Prashant Kishore-led Jansuraj Abhiyaan announced its official stand on Friday, saying the organization will support independent candidate Anoop Kumar Srivastava on the Gopalganj seat.

Prashant Kishore, the founder of Jansuraj, said that Anoop Kumar Srivastava has been active for a long time on issues related to social concerns, clean image and development of the area. The organization believes that they can effectively raise the voice of the public in the Assembly.

After this support, the election contest on Gopalganj seat has become more interesting. The main contest here could be triangular between the ruling NDA, the Grand Alliance and now the independent candidate supported by Jansuraj.

Anup Kumar Srivastava, reacting to the support of Jansuraj, said that this support will further strengthen the strength of the people. He said that he has been working on the principles of service and transparency in politics and will do so in future too.
