
Nawada, 20 October (NEWS IN BIHAR). On Monday, the last day of Bihar Assembly election nominations, many veterans filed their nomination papers from five assembly constituencies of Nawada.
Govindpur RJD MLA Mohammad Kamran filed independent nomination papers after being denied ticket. Amidst the hustle and bustle, Rashtriya Janata Dal candidate from Nawada assembly constituency, former MLA Kaushal Yadav, Purnima Yadav, wife of former MLA Kaushal Yadav from Govindpur assembly constituency, Vineeta Mehta, wife of Bharatiya Janata Party district president Anil Mehta, as NDA candidate from the same assembly constituency, Mohammad Kamran, former MLA from Govindpur, filed his nomination papers as an independent candidate.
Amid tight security, on the last day on Monday, the candidates along with Bajegaje reached the collectorate and sub-division premises and filed their nomination papers. Nawada candidate Kaushal Yadav, while addressing his supporters, said that the Grand Alliance candidates will win on all the five seats of Nawada district. The victory of senior Rashtriya Janata Dal leader Tejashwi Yadav is very important for his supporters to make him the Chief Minister. For which the victory of RJD candidates is certain. Govindpur MLA Mohammad Kamran said that the Rashtriya Janata Dal leadership did not consider him fit to contest the elections. Due to which his ticket has been canceled and ticket has been given to former MLA Purnima Yadav. I have no complaint against the leadership. But on the voice of the public, I am filing nomination papers to reach their court.
NDA candidate Vimal Rajvanshi and RJD candidate Pinky Bharti filed nomination from Rajauli assembly constituency.
