Saran, 26 November . On the instructions of District Legal Services Authority, Saran, Chapra, a legal awareness camp was organized in the premises of District School, Chapra today on the occasion of Constitution Day. The camp started at 11 am, in which more than 150 students of the school participated.

The main objective of the program was to make children aware of their constitutional rights, fundamental rights—especially the right to education and fundamental duties. Hariom Bihari, retainer advocate of the District Legal Services Authority, gave detailed information to the students regarding these important topics.

He explained to the children in simple language what rights and duties the Indian Constitution provides to every citizen of the country. On this occasion, the Preamble of the Constitution was collectively repeated among all the 150 children present, which awakened in them a sense of respect for the constitutional values. Teacher Sudhakar Kashyap, teacher Mukesh Kumar Singh, and all other teachers actively participated in this program organized under the leadership of Principal Shweta Verma.

District Legal Services Authority’s paralegal volunteer Alok Kumar Srivastava was also present during this period.

Advocate Hariom Bihari inspired the children present to not only follow the fundamental rights and duties given by the Constitution themselves but also to spread awareness in their family and society. This awareness camp proved to be a successful step towards conveying the ideals of the Constitution to the new generation.
