Bhagalpur, 26 October . The Municipal Corporation administration has now come into action regarding the Chhath festival in Bhagalpur. Recently, after the situation of filth and disorder came to light at Chhath Ghats, the administration has intensified the cleaning campaign.

The work of removing garbage, adding lime and repairing the lighting system on the Ganga ghats is going on continuously. Corporation teams have been busy cleaning the ghats since morning.

Local people say that when the news of the filth of the ghats was shown through the media, the Municipal Corporation immediately took action and started the cleaning campaign. Now people are feeling relieved after seeing the cleanliness on the ghats.

Officials say that this time every necessary preparation is being ensured to ensure that Chhath fasts and devotees do not face any kind of problem. The administration is keeping a close watch on the cleanliness and safety of the ghats. On the other hand, the railway administration is fully prepared for the great festival of public faith, Chhath. In this sequence, Senior DCM of Eastern Railway Malda Division Miss Anjan inspected Bhagalpur Junction.

He took stock of the waiting room, restaurant and security arrangements in the station premises. After the inspection, Senior DCM Anjan said that this time special arrangements have been made by the Railways to ensure that the passengers do not face any problem on the occasion of Chhath festival. A temporary waiting room has been built outside the station. Where passengers have seating and drinking water facilities.

He said that passengers can book tickets through their mobiles. So that they will not have the problem of standing in long queues. For the safety of passengers, a team of dog squad along with RPF and GRP personnel has also been deployed.
