Amidst the excitement of assembly elections, Jansuraj Party candidate and former IG R.K. Mishra’s statement has become a topic of discussion in political circles. He started his campaign with a strong slogan – “Now there will be decision, now there will be treatment. On one side there will be catchphrases, on one side there will be people’s rule.”

While talking to Udaipur Kiran, Mishra said that the public is now fed up with hollow promises and false slogans. Darbhanga now needs concrete work, not politics of show.

He said, “The public is not going to be cheated this time. Those under whose rule the situation of education, health and employment worsened will now have to answer. Darbhanga wants change and Jansuraj is the name of that change.”

Former IG of Darbhanga R.K. Mishra is known for his image of an honest and strict administrator. Now he is coming into politics and talking about changing the system. Mishra says that the goal of Jansuraj Party is corruption-free governance, transparent administration and active participation of the general public.

Local analysts believe that with the entry of Mishra, the contest in Darbhanga assembly constituency has become interesting. This time the public is clearly making a comparison between traditional leaders and new alternatives.
