
Nawada, October 19 (NEWS IN BIHAR). Nutrition Month, celebrated at various Anganwadis to establish a malnutrition-free society, ended on Sunday with resolutions to eliminate malnutrition.
National Nutrition Month 2025 was concluded with great celebration and gaiety at Chandel Bagh Anganwadi Center under Child Development Project Narhat. The program was started by lighting the lamp by Child Development Project Officer Jyoti Sinha and BDO Prashant Kumar.
CDPO said that the main objective of this campaign is to promote health, nutrition and empowerment of women and adolescent girls, so that every family can be healthy and happy. He said that women are the backbone of the society and when women are healthy then only the family and society will become strong.
He told that women were made aware about the food habits. CDPO directed the Anganwadi workers to involve as many women as possible in their respective nutritional areas in this campaign and make them aware about health, nutrition and cleanliness.
CDPO also made women aware to vote more and more for the upcoming assembly elections. On this occasion, women supervisors Sunita Kumari, Shivani Kumari, District Coordinator of Dost Foundation Suraj Singh, Block Coordinator Sonu Mal etc. were present.
