A high-level review meeting related to all the necessary preparations done so far by the district administration and the upcoming action plan regarding the Bihar Assembly elections was held on Saturday under the chairmanship of District Election Officer-cum-District Officer Anil Kumar in the presence of all the general observers, police observers and expenditure observers appointed in the district. This meeting was held in Parman Auditorium located at Collectorate Araria.

General Observers Neha Marvya, Vijay Dayaram K, V Kalaiyarasi, Sanjeev Singh, S Malarvizhi, Indramani Tripathi, Police Observer Suresh Kumar CH, Expenditure Observer Avesh Anand Titarmare, Expenditure Observer Dinesh Kumar Jangid, Police Additional Anjani Kumar and all the electoral officers of the Legislative Assembly, officers in-charge of all cells, nodal officers and related officers were present in the meeting.

On this occasion, the District Election Officer introduced all the assembly constituencies of the entire district one by one from the point of view of elections. He presented the detailed details of all the election preparations done so far in the district through PPT.

He gave detailed information on booth management, human resources, material management, training arrangements, facilities at polling stations, arrangement of vehicles, status of VVPAT and EVMs, sweep activities and law and order preparations.

The District Election Officer said that the election preparations in the district are progressing as per the scheduled deadline and compliance with the guidelines of the observers is being ensured in every assembly constituency.

He said that all officers should keep election work as their top priority and ensure that the Commission’s guidelines are followed in letter and spirit. Take special care to ensure that there is not even a small mistake in the election process.

During the meeting, the observers expressed satisfaction over the preparations of the district administration. He said that the initiative of the district administration to conduct the election process in a fair, peaceful and transparent manner is commendable. The observers also gave necessary instructions to the concerned cells and asked them to ensure that special attention is paid to all aspects related to voter convenience, security and awareness.
