Bhagalpur, 26 November . On Wednesday, a special program was organized at Samiksha Bhawan, Bhagalpur on Drug De-addiction Day. In which officials of various departments of the district, officials of the excise department, police personnel and a large number of school students participated.

During the program, police officers and soldiers who did commendable work towards a drug-free society were honored with medals and citations. ADM Rakesh Ranjan, Product Superintendent Pramodit Narayan Singh and Head Quarter DSP Mohammad Ayub and other officers were present on the stage. All the officials together administered an oath to the people present to stay away from drugs and make the drug de-addiction campaign successful. Officials said that drug addiction weakens the society and collective awareness is the biggest weapon to avoid it.
