Paddy crops were ruined due to untimely rains in the block area for several days continuously. Due to heavy rains there is mourning among the farmers. The effect of the storm originating from the Bay of Bengal is being seen widely in the Amour block area.

Paddy crops were ruined due to continuous rain for several days. Farmers have become disheartened after seeing their paddy crops getting ruined. Farmers said that due to continuous rain for several days, the ready paddy crops planted in hundreds of acres have been ruined.

Farmers have demanded crop damage compensation from the administration. Those making demands include Mohd Ajmal, Maujam, Samsool Huda, Nazim, Ajmuddin, Anjar, Ilyas, Sheikh Rasool, Virendra Shah, Ravi Sah, Shamsuddin, She Raees etc.
