
Katihar, 18 October (NEWS IN BIHAR). There was panic among the passengers after a snake came out in the first AC coach of train number 13246 Capital Express train on Saturday night. A team of doctors, Dr. Qamar Hashmi, Dr. Javed, Dr. Tamheed and Dr. Mehsuj, going from Patna to New Jalpaiguri, saw a Carth snake about one and a half feet long in their cabin near Kishanganj station.
As soon as the snake was seen, there was panic among the passengers and everyone immediately informed the on-duty TTE and the cleaning staff. The passengers continued traveling in terror the whole night. Later, due to security reasons, the First AC coach was separated from the train at New Jalpaiguri station.
Although no passenger was harmed, this incident has created fear among the passengers. People have demanded from the railway administration not to be negligent in regular inspection and maintenance of coaches.
There is anger among the passengers due to the incident of snake coming out in the first AC bogie of Capital Express. Passengers say that the railway administration should not be negligent in regular inspection and maintenance of coaches. This incident has raised questions on the safety of passengers. The railway administration has started investigation into this incident and has assured to take action against the culprits.
